151: Realistic Prepping with Jim Cobb

Podcast: Play in new window | Download
In this episode, Jim Cobb (Real World Prepping) and I discuss Realistic Prepping and Jim's new book Prepper's Long-Term Survival Guide: 2nd Edition.
Realistic Prepping is something many preppers struggle with. For example, many preppers worry more about an unlikely nuclear apocalypse than the far more likely job loss with follow-on financial hardship. Regardless of the scenario, all preparedness-minded people will be best served by taking a step back from the doom and gloom of world destruction, instead focusing on the more probable scenarios they are likely to face—realistic prepping.
Listen to our discussion and learn where preppers get it right and where they get it wrong when it comes to realistic prepping.
Don't forget to check out Jim's new book!

Nope, web issues. Sorry about that. You should be ready to go now. Thanks! ~Brian
Great
Love Preppers Long Term Survival! Our Local book seller does not carry your books, Jim! It’s Amazon, Amazon, or Amazon, for me!
You two work so well together. GREAT episode 🙂
… swiss army knives though?..
I have used the saw and agree it is much better than other saws .. I still think I’d prefer a pocket knife with serration (BUT THAT’S JUST AN OPINION)
I also live in Leatherman country 🙂 sure it’s bulky but it’s worth the weight and space 🙂
Now I need to look for the audiobook version of the original book
the new one:
Prepper’s Long-Term Survival Guide: 2nd Edition: Food, Shelter, Security, Off-the-Grid Power, and More Lifesaving Strategies for Self-Sufficient Living (Expanded and Revised) (Books for Preppers) Paperback – January 3, 2023
